Branson (Mon & Tues)

We crammed so much into this trip I'm having a hard time deciding on which of the 215 pictures I should put on here......=0)

So I will try my best *with dial up* to show you what we did!! We love going to Branson! There is soooo much to do - and it's not just shows we actually only went to 2 shows: a magic show and The Acrobats of China. This trip we didn't make it to any singing shows which they have 100's of. Any type of music.....

The boys have been bugging us for a *real* train ride. So the first day we decided to take them on the train that runs through the Ozark Mountains. Of course that sounded "BORING" to #3 (girl). She wanted to ride the "Ducks". So she and Daddy rode the ducks and I took the boys on the train =)

This is the tunnel we went through...

Then we hit the Hollywood Wax Museum....that was something the kids have been talking about since our last trip to Branson.

#2 has become obsessed with John Wayne?? He found a pocket knife in one of the barns on our property with his picture on it. Well he has figured out that the guy on his knife is famous he was picking out all the John Wayne stuff. "Hey Mom that is the guy on my knife!" So that is John Wayne off to the left. And he liked this scene because he remember his Grandpa N watching this show with him =0) Hi Dad!!

We went to the Titanic Museum. When you walk in you get a ticket with someones name on it from the Titanic. Then you go through the museum and look for "your" name. Some of them you can find lots of info some not so much. The people there have an amazing amount of info in their heads. For example "I" was a 2 year old little girl, my parents didn't get on a life boat because they were looking for my brother & his Nanny. Who were already on life boats but "my" parents and "I" went down with the ship :( It was VERY interesting!

Here is the fish hatchery - they produce 1,000,000 fish a year to put in Lake Taneycomo!!

That evening we hit the magic show! #1 has become obssessed with Nascar so this magic show has one of the Nascar cars appear - so we had to go right? Vacations are about the kids having fun =)

Here is #1 getting an autograph after the show. #1 bought one of the magic tricks in the shop and he took the time to show him some tricks to learn =)

Then On Tuesday we drove to Mansfield, MO to see the Laura Ingalls Wilder house! We had to squeeze in some educational things too LOL =)

Here are the "kids" looking for fossils in the chimney =) He is such a GREAT Daddy!!

This is the house Laura and her husband and their daughter lived in! It started as a 2 room house that they added and added and added on to =)

This is the house their daughter had built for them - it was a bit down the road from the white one. Their daughter then lived in the white house. This was a much smaller house. But eventually they moved back to the white one.

Then we hit "Lambert's Cafe" home of the throwed rolls (yes I DO know that is not correct BUT that IS what their sign says!!) Anyhow this was place #2 that the kiddos have been asking to go too. We usually go to "Fall Creek" which throw the rolls at you too. But they are remodeling! So we got lucky on the way home from Mansfield.

Last but not least on Tuesday Night we went to see the Acrobats of China!! Wow how do they do that? The were amazing and some of them were maybe 7!! WOW!!

That was just Monday and Tuesday!! I really need to go start unpacking I will post more later!!! Come Back -k- =0)
