I have had some ask what does this mean? Is she yours?
NO not exactly - basically all it means is WACAP will not share her info with any other families. Up to this point any family farther along in the process would be first in line. And there are other agencies that have her info. Could be a problem? Maybe? WACAP says not to worry about it.
Next step in the game get our paper work to India - and get what they call NOC (no objection clearance) if I understand correctly this when India considers her ours. Not legally, but they tell the other agencies she has a family.
Then we have more paperwork to send to India =) JOY I LOVE paperwork!!!
Then we have 3 court dates in India - nothing we are a part of they take care of it all.
On the last court date we will be granted guardianship. After that it is usually a month to get her visa and passport. Then we will go get her!!
BEST CASE SCENARIO:
Dossier to India: middle of November
NOC: middle of December
1st Court Date: January
2nd Court Date: February
3rd Court Date: March
Travel April or May
April she turns 3 =)
BUT we HAVE to be prepared for hold ups - hold ups happen, papers don't get filed right. Papers forgotten. Dossiers are lost. Papers are "lost" on someones desk. Holidays! Its the government people, enough said!! Sometimes court dates are postponed not anyones fault it just happens.
Besides that list the only other thing we are waiting on is our I600A approval =)
That is the US immigration to tell us its alright to bring her to the states! I'm not sure how much longer that will take?
India does seem to be moving a bit faster then in the past - pray we can get her home ASAP. BUT in God's Timing it's perfect - I have learned lots this year about Him being faithful ALWAYS even when it *feels* like He isn't.

Oy!! I thought our adoption process was hard. You are doing such a great job of keeping your chin up. I'll be sure to pray that you can continue to do so. 8^)
