My oldest loves to draw, he has quite the imagination. But throughout the day he would go into his "la la world" (his drawings). My hubby decided to have a study with him on the miracles of Jesus or The book of John.
So hubby picks a chapter for him to read and #1 has to draw it out!! #1 really enjoys this and if Dad forgets to leave a chapter he will ask in the afternoon can he call Dad for his chapter.
It has help us gauge his reading comprehension too!!
