Bananas Work For Me :)

We have been hittin' up Trader Joe's for their produce :)
LOVE LOVE LOVE Trader Joe's!!!

We started out getting just 3 bunches and having them hang on banana hangers.
Well this gang of mine LOVES Bananas.....
And 3 bunches just wasn't enough.
So hubby had an idea to buy hooks and put them on our shelves!!
I'd say it works for us!!
That is TWO rows of them on Monday.

Last night I had to go back to the store to refill our hangers!
Ay Ay Ay!!! But it's a cheap snack!!

I'm thinking.......

......that the Omega 3"s would be more helpful if I remembered to give them to the Kiddos everyday ;)

Ahhh maybe next week we can start LOL!!!

Which makes me wonder what else do you give your kiddos and why?

Why Vegan?

Just feel like it is the next step in healthy for us :) We can either go broke with organic meat OR cut the bulk if the meat out! The more I read about health the more I am told that we eat WAY too much meat anyhow (generically speaking as Americans). It was common not that long ago that meat was only eaten on Sunday's or Special Occasions. Now meat is the main dish.

Having chickens I can tell you that the chicken in the store is NOT what God intended for us :) Our chicken even "plumped up" for winter are little creatures!!

Next on the list :)

And the more you tell others.....

.....the more they help you continue your journey of learning!!

Pasteurized and Ultra Pasteurized Milk

Another Site :) I must say that I was surprised that our white milk was pasteurized and our organic chocolate milk was ultra pasteurized!!

We have been slowly introducing Almond Milk to the Family :) So far so good!!

A common ingredient in "green" soaps is Borax.....for some reason it has never sat well with me. So someone shared THIS.

THANKS friends!!

I think this is amazing....

God's Pharmacy

God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body!
God's Pharmacy! Amazing!

A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye… and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.

A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.

Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today sh ow s grape s are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food. (For more heart-healthy remedies, visit www.BloodPressureNormalized.com and www.CholesterolSecrets.com)

A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums.
Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.

Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys. (For a natural kidney stone remedy, visit www.KidneyStoneNaturalTreatment.com)

Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.

Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit. There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (mo dern science has only studied and named about 141 of them)

Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility. (For more info about male sexual health, visit www.NaturallyStiff.com)

Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic
index of diabetics.

Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries

Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.
Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.

The hard thing about making this decision is for every bad story on one side there is an equally bad story on the other. Same goes for the good stories. It's a tough call! I am only putting the info out there :)

If you are wondering about exemptions HERE is a list that I found.

Torn..... (warning on content)

Let me start by saying I don't want this to turn into a debate :) I have been researching this and from talking to other Moms out there it is not always known.

Let me take you back a few months hubby and I have started questioning vaccines, you know the link to autism and what not. Should we be doing this at all? Should we limit? Should we delay?
Well in researching and asking around I have learned that some of the vaccines have aborted fetuses (to me a BABY not fetus!) So how can I stand here and say I am pro life yet give my kids vaccines...........I can't really.

http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/8148/vac2.html
http://www.vaccinetruth.org/fetal_tissue.htm

I ONLY say this not to tell anyone what to do. Only so that it is known. You have to do what is best for your kids and family. Only you will answer to GOD for what you do or don't.

We have started taking more vitamins and paying more attention to the foods we eat to naturally get the vitamins and minerals our bodies need to function properly. These are a few sites I found helpful!

This was from one of the Yahoo groups I belong to:

1. Lots of super-healthy liquids to flush out the body while pouring in nutrients.

2. Fiber to keep your GI tract fit.

3. Foods that energize cleansing enzymes in the liver, your body's built-in detox center.

The Top 10:

1.Green leafy vegetables. Eat them raw, throw them into a broth, add them to juices. Their chlorophyll helps swab out environmental toxins (heavy metals, pesticides) and is an all-round liver protector.

2.Lemons. You need to keep the fluids flowing to wash out the body and fresh lemonade is ideal. Its vitamin C - considered the detox vitamin - helps convert toxins into a water - soluble form that?s easily flushed away.

3.Watercress. Put a handful into salads, soups, and sandwiches. The peppery little green leaves have a diuretic effect that helps move things through your system. And cress is rich in minerals too.

4.Garlic . Add it to everything - salads, sauces, spreads. In addition to the bulb's cardio benefits, it activates liver enzymes that help filter out junk.

5.Green tea. This antioxidant-rich brew is one of the healthiest ways to get more fluids into your system. Bonus: It contains catechins, which speed up liver activity.

6.Broccoli sprouts. Get 'em at your health-food store. They pack 20 to 50 times more cancer-fighting, enzyme-stimulating activity into each bite than the grown-up vegetable.

7.Sesame seeds. They're credited with protecting liver cells from the damaging effects of alcohol and other chemicals. For a concentrated form, try tahini, the yummy sesame seed paste that?s a staple of Asian cooking.

8.Cabbage. There are two main types of detoxifying enzymes in the liver; this potent veggie helps activate both of them. Coleslaw, anyone?

9.Psyllium. A plant that's rich in soluble fiber, like oat bran, but more versatile. It mops up toxins (cholesterol too) and helps clear them out. Stir powdered psyllium into juice to help cleanse your colon, or have psyllium-fortified Bran Buds for breakfast.

10.Fruits, fruits, fruits. They're full of almost all the good things above - vitamin C, fiber, nutritious fluids, and all kinds of antioxidants. Besides, nothing tastes better than a ripe mango, fresh berries, or a perfect pear.
