So why do I think that there was no court date?
There are a few steps to an Indian adoption: 1. CARA (an Indian agency) grants NOC then the papers go off to scrutiny board then off to court, for 3 court dates.
We have NOC. And we had a court date scheduled for 6/26, but yesterday received an e mail from our ageny in the states that the scrutiny board wants an updated medical on her for us to sign. So I ASSUME if scrutiny board is asking for something then we haven't had a court date :( But when I asked our agency if we did indeed have a court date they said they didn't know for sure and would get the info from the orphanage.
Soooo that's where we stand wait wait and wait some more :)
This is a never ending "pregnancy: ha ha :)

It is so nice to get acquainted through sharing our blogs. I'm so sorry you've had such a long wait for your daughter. Hoping and praying for good news on your court process soon. It was so hard to see Jeremiah growing up through pictures and not being able to hold him, so I really feel for you. I'll be looking to you for advice as, at this point, I'm planning to home school Jeremiah.
