Heat - Humidity - looking like a rag-o-muffin in pictures (due to "humid hair") - beggars - different food - spicy food - humidity - remembering who to tip and how much - electricity going out - don't use left hand - lack of toilet paper - "squat toilet" - driving in India is a constant game of "chicken" - some words that mean one thing in America.....not in India - who it is appropriate to give gifts to - humidity - bargaining while shopping - where you can/can't take pictures - cellphone usage? - internet connections? - missing my 3 kiddos at home - have I mentioned humidity :)
Meeting my 4th child where she began her life.........priceless!!!

I take a lot of $1.00 bills and tip with that. Especially in restaurants
and in the airport restrooms. A lot of them, Delhi airport for one, there is a lady standing there with a roll of paper towel (sometimes toilet paper). She will hand you a small section after you wash your hands.
I carry small packages of kleenex incase there is no TP in a stall. In all the restrooms I have been in, there has been a stall with a "normal" toilet. I have never used one where you had to squat......
