Changing a Name.

There is lots of opinions in this area of names and whether or not you should change an adopted child's name. We chose to change her name. Why? For us it was new life new name. Her middle name is her Indian name...so it isn't like she doesn't ever hear it :) And actually has turn into a nickname of sorts.

We chose to keep it in her name so that hen she is older should she chose to go by that name rather then her "American" name she can with out too much trouble.

Here is a post I came across this week talking about the same thing. I think this is one of those things left to each family.......both sides makes sense :)
