Menu Plan Monday!

Check out this site for more menu ideas!

We have to get a grip on our grocery budget....too many weeks come the end of the week we are "out" of food. I use out loosely.....just things we don't want to eat or bits and pieces of a meal. Example right now I have a case and a half of spaghetti noodles and nothing for sauce ;) Noodles were on clearance so we bought what they had... lol!

So here is me....trying to get organized in the kitchen......I hope to "get it" before #3 & #4 move out so they can start their households right!

Next Weeks Menu: I'll put the recipes at the end that don't have links ;)

Breakfasts: Waffles, Pancakes & Sausage, Cereal 2 Days, Banana Muffins, Toast & jelly, Sausage Balls.

Lunches: Kelly's Crescents, Grilled Cheese & Carrots & Ranch, Dawne's Taco Salad, Crescent pizzas, Pigs in a Blanket, BLT's

Dinners: Caesar Salad Wraps (the salad on tortillas!), Hamburger and homemade fries, Home made chicken nuggets and home made fries & corn, Italian chicken and potatoes (this recipe if for pork chops....but I do the chicken the same way! Hubby is not a big pork guy!) & squash, Rice brocolli n' cheese cups, cheesy chicken & salsa skillet (although going to make it with spaghetti noodles instead!), Taco Dip

Snacks and/or Desserts: Pretzels, Grapes, fruit dip, oatmeal cookies, chocolate chip cookies, carrots and ranch and chips and dip, home made granola, popcorn, ice cream

So 3 meals a day, afternoon snack and an evening snack OR we will have to start eating dinner later???? Haven't decided!

On the list of things to try this week: Homemade Yogurt which in turn will make cream cheese ;)

Here is where you come in! Whenever I plan my meals I feel like I spend a lot more money (but probably only notice it because it is one big trip instead of multiple little trips), add in trying to be healthy at the same time. SO if you haven't left me a recipe....will ya?

I also want to make my own bread. We have a bread machine......make that 2 bread machines I found a new one at a resale shop and couldn't leave it there! I have played with a few recipes and none of them are the right fit.

Anyone Gluten free? Does that benefit someone who DOESN'T have a sensitivity to it?

And last but certainly not least ;) Anyone make things home made......like Ketchup? Mayo? This would probably be more for health and less "budget friendly" reasons.

THANKS!

Just the recipes......skip if you don't want them!
