Attempts at Sewing........

So this week I decided to learn how to make a skirt :) My MIL and I (mostly her though) made a jumper a few months back....not bad.

I thought hey a skirt can't be that different.......oh I was a bit wrong :) First I went to put the elastic on an well sewed the waist shut LOL =) Oh well I will try again after another sewing lesson!!!


There it is :) It is not hemmed because I'm not sure yet if the waist can be fixed! I told my daughter its not really a skirt you would wear out since it is mommy's first time to which she replied with a smile...."Mom I WILL wear it out"!!!!!!!!
