We did it! This year we finally canned!!! I got some pointers over @ Owlhaven, here, and had my Grandma on speed dial today THANKS GRANDMA!!!! :)
What a fabulous noise to hear them seal!!!! Onto apple butter, and hopefully apple pie filling (hint hint Grandma!!!!)

looks yummy! I just did my first canning session, too...salsa.
I sure wish the water would heat faster in the big ole' pan! LOL
My mother canned for many years. Part of me wants to do it but it just seemed like SOOOOOOO much work!!! What did you think?
Awesome!!! Now that we have our own house, next year DH will can alot. he makes some killer apple butter
