Someone sent me this message:
I just wanted to make sure you understand that the new laws only apply to new products made on or after the date the act takes effect...... not things made before then. So garage sales and all that stuff are still going to be just fine. Again, it only pertains to new products. Trust me, I read the entire 65 page act and did research above and beyond that =)
