This year I had the blessing of having my Sister and Niece go with us :) It is so nice having her here. I'll have to admit I am getting a bit spoiled!
We had great food. Great Fellowship. And lots of laughs! This type of thing is always bitter sweet, while we love being Moms.......it makes us think of our loss almost 9 yrs ago!

Mother's Day has been hard for me, too. I lost my mom to breast cancer 9 years ago while I was pregnant with my first child. She's missed the years I'm proudest of. This year, I finally felt a bit more happy to *celebrate me* and mourn her less.
